About Me
​I am a final year Media and Communications (Journalism) student destined for a role in online editorial or marketing. My key skills and past experience lay in creating content for online platforms and being able to adapt to new media skills easily. I am able to coherently work well in copywriting, editing and proofreading which are key skills I would be able to apply going into a future role in the industry. My interests reflect a job role I would thrive at as these skills are ones that I have practiced and have worked at to the best of my ability.
Work Experience
I have recently undertaken some work experience at British American Group which is a student marketing agency where they have developed a portfolio of youth focused publications, apps, and websites. I had to proof read work before publishing copywriting content. This placement progressed my skills in editorial and social media as I was using these skills all the time. I worked on building the content for their new and upcoming website which has been published - my articles can be found under 'placement work' in the navigation bar.

I also completed a work placement at West Midlands Combined Authority which was a communications editorial role, creating documents for the Mayor of the West Midlands. I was apart of events which were according to the Mayor's schedule and helped with amending his diary with the communications team.

I have also had experience in Events at Warwick University. I led and organised events using the briefs of what the clients wanted and how they wanted their event to function. I also helped create marketing material for some events which were requested using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Education
I am a hard working and driven young creative looking to secure a graduate role in editorial / marketing. I have gained industry knowledge and experiences which all relate and revolve around a role I would flourish in.
​
Since a young age I was interested in creative roles as I have GCSE's in media, english and art and also chose these subjects to study at A-level. I have 10 GCSE's ranging from A*-C and 3 A-levels.
​
I will soon be graduating July 2019 with a degree in Media and Communications (Journalism).
